An Aabelard apron is made from quality material. We use waxed cotton – fabric developed over years to suit the toughest rigors of outdoor life – combined with double-faced soft Italian leather.

Heavyweight antiqued brass buckles and fixings make the Aabelard apron as durable as it is beautiful. They are also generously proportioned with no skimping on fabric – because there’s nothing worse than an apron that doesn’t go all the way! Whether you’re a home cook, hobbyist, gardener, professional or just plain messy, the Aabelard apron is for you.

We think an Aabelard apron makes the perfect gift for men and women, especially for those who are hard to buy for! Whoever you’re buying for, an Aabelard apron makes a thoughtful and long-lasting present. We can make your gift even more special by customising it for you. The luxury leather styling makes for a beautiful 3rd wedding anniversary gift too.

Betsy Benn
, ,

Welcome to Betsy Benn – A design for every story. We specialise in personalised prints, typographic and unique gifts, creatively clever greetings cards, heavenly home-wares and present perfection. Lovingly designed and created by Betsy Benn at her Cheltenham Spa studio in the Cotswolds since 2009.
Betsy Benn as a company has grown from being just Betsy and occasionally her family and friends, to employing another three full time Betsy’s, as well as five (or is it 6) other virtual Betsy’s who become full time Betsy’s at busy periods. Not to mention the many local suppliers and trades who help out and benefit from a successful growing local business.

Blok Knives

Ben has always been fascinated by making, building and dismantling things; every now and again he’d find himself watching random videos of people doing the same. After watching a video of a young lad making a knife in his dad’s garage, he found his next project.

With limited tools and knowledge Ben set about making his first knife in his cellar at home. His first knife was made, followed by many others until he was surrounded by his new addiction. It wasn’t long before an order book formed and Blok Knives featured in the Derbyshire Times.

In 2013, Ben found a shared creative space a few miles from his home. He set up shop and spent many a late night trying to perfect his craft. It was at this point Ben went part time and started to dedicate more hours to making his kitchen knives.

Chalon Kitchens
, ,

Since the company’s foundation over 30 years ago, the Chalon brand’s reputation has grown and now receives global recognition. Through its own showrooms, the company has a presence in each of the key regions of the UK and has a number of agents representing Chalon overseas. The company is looking to expand its international focus and is working with UKTI as part of a co-ordinated export drive.

Whilst concentrating on kitchens, the Chalon range has been extended from its origins in freestanding furniture to include dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, studies, and libraries – every room of the home. In more recent years, kitchen trends have seen Chalon develop furniture for utility rooms and pantries, as well as integrating the modern appliances that are required for today’s living. Complementary products such as lighting were added to the portfolio in 2010.

Today, under new ownership, our craftsmen continue to develop and evolve the Chalon portfolio. Predominantly English in style, our designs have been flavoured by particular influences from France, Scandinavia and Ireland to develop a distinctive house style.

Her British-made homeware collection ranges from linen cushions, embroidered linen tea towels and kitchen accessories, to co-ordinating
stationery and beautiful screen printed crockery.
