West Country Creative
,

West Country Creative is run by me, Jo Hunter. I completed my degree in Graphic Design in the 1980s, and have since worked as a Graphic Designer and Tutor of Art & Design/Graphics for many years.

My range of creative and inspirational workshops features either oven-bake polymer clay or precious metal, silver clay. These include bead and silver jewellery making classes, button making, workshops to make a Tote or Messenger bag with co-ordinated buttons and even Christmas decorations!

I teach in the light and airy studio space of my home and classes are relaxed, supportive and fun. Sessions are limited to 8 students so I can tailor my teaching to suit you, whether you’re a complete novice or have more experience. I hope every class will give students the inspiration and confidence to continue making at home.

Woven Art Jewellery
,

With a love of wirework and a real passion for creating unique, beautiful and wearable pieces of jewellery, I set up Woven Art Jewellery in early 2013.

All Woven Art Jewellery pieces are carefully hand-crafted from high quality materials including sterling and fine silver and genuine semi-precious gemstones and I combine wirework techniques such as wire weaving, wire crochet and even chain maille with more traditional silversmithing techniques.

I love the possibilities that silver wire offers – from a delicately crocheted bridal necklace to a strong statement piece. I love seeing a piece come to life in my hands and when someone wears and loves one of my finished items there is a feeling of immense satisfaction.

As everything is individually hand-crafted to order, I can ensure your jewellery is a perfect fit for you, or for that special someone, and can incorporate your own colour preferences if required. am also happy to make bespoke items and can work with you to create your perfect, one-of-a-kind piece. Just contact me for an initial, no obligation chat.

Yasmin Bochi
, ,

I’m Yasmin Bochi, a U.K. based designer with Belgian/Syrian roots and specialised in restyled vintage unique handbags and quirky handmade jewellery.
I draw my inspiration from my love for anything vintage and my background as a art history graduate. I love mixing up styles from different eras and turning them into a new, current design. The best way to describe my style? A bit of 50s kitsch with a touch of baroque!
I have chosen to work with vintage handbags as I have been collecting them for a long time and I love their durability. They are a blank canvas on which I can express my artistic experiments and therefore giving them a well-deserved second life!
My designs are striking, quirky and very personal so please have a look around and feel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions!
